North Peak Brewing Co | Traverse City, MI
“That’s it; just that little nugget?” I hear from the bathroom stall.
“Daddy, I pooped three poops!” I try not to burst out laughing. It’s noon and I’m a little drunk.

North Peak Brewing Company brews their own beer, apparently on-site. When we went, a gent was climbing around on all the equipment cleaning it off with a soapy broom. It’s great beer. Get the sampler.
Food is also great. One of the great barometers of a casual food spot is its Monte Cristo sandwich situation. One, is it on the menu at all? And, two, is it any good? Theirs is great. They serve it with local cherry jam and it’s fantastic.
North Peak is a very solid spot. However, if you’re vacationing in the area and stop here for lunch, think twice about stopping at the Bowery outside of town for dinner — they have the same owner and basically the same menu. Woops.
