Tug Hill Snowmobile Bar | Tug Hill, NY
So, I forgot the name(s), but I was bar-hopping with my soon-to-be father in law and we’d already made a few stops and I wasn’t taking notes. This review really could apply to every bar we visited.
The bartender, a female, is all cleavage. Not beautiful cleavage, but bountiful cleavage. Beers are cheap. The crowd is light because the snow’s been melting and the snowmobile trails aren’t covered. At one of the places we stop, we have a beer with the city’s snowplow drivers who are getting drunk at 2PM because of the lack of snow and the clear forecast.
Some places have food and more times than not, the bartender is also the cook, running between the bar and kitchen filling all the orders. Most of the food is fried and good.
Labatt Blue is the beer to drink. Not sure why, but this Canadian beer is big here. We are close to Canada …
Later we’re at a place with a band and the guitarist is getting a kick out of walking around the room and playing the guitar with whatever he happens to pick up — somebody’s keys, a beer, a fork. It’s wild. I half expect a fight to break out, but everybody is having too much fun to even consider it.
We’ll be in the area again soon, and I can’t wait to return.
